Paul White is a public affairs specialist with the provincial government. He worked his first flood as a communications officer during the Flood of the Century in 1997 and every major flood, derailment and pipeline explosion since. He was a reporter, anchorman and assignment editor for CKY-TV (CTV) prior to joining government.
He has a degree in economics from the University of Manitoba as well as a certification in management designation from the U of M. Paul has achieved ICS 300 through the Manitoba Emergency Services College. He has also served as a public information officer for the Urban Search and Rescue team Can TF-4. He has trained many people for encounters with the media.
